The Cannabis Social Equity Program is designed to support equal opportunity in the cannabis industry by making legal cannabis business ownership and employment opportunities more accessible.

• Must have an annual household income of below 80% LA County Area Median Income limits (AMI).

AND at least one (1) of the following:

• Have lived in a qualifying census tract in Long Beach for a minimum of three (3) years.
• Is currently receiving Unemployment Insurance (UI) payments.
• Was arrested or convicted of a cannabis related crime (prior to November 8, 2016) in Long Beach that could have been prosecuted as a misdemeanor or citation under current California Law.
